Palacio de Paz was created by artists and artisans to provide a restful and meditative environment for our guests, and to encourage the creative spirit in everyone who visits or works here. In Costa Rica it is called "La Pura Vida" -- living in a calm, uncluttered manner. This is the vacation destination to pursue those thoughts, write, relax and enjoy the shear beauty that surrounds you and your friends. Our community of artists
A community of artists contributed their talents to the design and functionality of the Palacio. Sculptor George Landry, painters Michele Martinez and Peg Baker, wood working genius Cornelio Barrantes, and visual artist Peggy Starborn drew on the natural beauty and cultural history of Costa Rica to embellish Palacio de Paz's already beautiful atmosphere.
